Cooking in the kitchen with Miele; Yorkshire Puddings

Spending your Sunday cooking up a beautiful roast? This golden and crisp recipe for traditional Yorkshire Puddings from Miele ensures the perfect rise. 


Makes 12

125g plain flour

¼ tsp salt

3 eggs

150ml milk

Beef Dripping or Duck Fat (Use vegetable oil for a meat free alternative)

1x Yorkshire Pudding Tray



  1. Preheat the oven to Fan Plus 210°C 

  2. Mix together the batter for the Yorkshire pudding in a bowl, ensuring it is smooth then transfer to a measuring jug.

  3. Put a dessert spoon of the cooking fat into the Yorkshire pudding mould and place in the oven to get very hot.

  4. Pour the batter mixture into the tray whilst it is still in the oven. Close the door and set for a duration of 25 minutes.

  5. Cook the puddings until they are dark golden brown and crisp.

  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
